Naka Itsuko creates her works by observing familiar animals and plants, including wild birds, and by observing seasonal scenery. This is her first collaboration with Tegamisha!

Swallows flying around happily have been made into masking tape. The patterns of their swallow tails and feathers are also beautifully designed. This year, swallows have apparently raised their young at Naka's house! The light blue color makes a stylish accent just by sticking it on. Recommended for bird lovers as well as those who love decoration.

Meet the Makers

Tegamisha is a creative collective based in Tokyo, Japan, dedicated to celebrating the art of paper and illustration. They operate a variety of ventures, including cafes, general stores, and bookstores, and are renowned for organising events such as the Tokyo Flea Market and Paper Expo (Kami-Haku).

They feature the work of artists from all over Japan. Tegamisha takes what they find, edits it with their sensibilities, experiences and passion, and present it to you in an exciting package. This is what they believe to be their mission and I think we can all agree they are doing a swell job of it.
