Hibi Match incense matches are crafted by Kobe Match Co. in Japan using a unique blend of paper fibers, incense, and charcoal to create the perfect strike-on-box incense match. The Harima region of Awaji has been producing matches and incense for nearly 150 years, accounting for nearly 70% of Japan's match production. The island's westerly winds create ideal conditions for drying incense, and each fragrance is made with herbs grown by a local incense producer using traditional methods.
