Saturn Press

Saturn Press greeting cards have been crafted with a slow, thoughtful approach to traditional letterpress printing since 1985, when founder Jim van Pernis began the company with a 1932 Miehle V45 printing press in his garage on Swan's Island, Maine. Today, Saturn Press continues to honor the traditions of papermaking and printing, creating cards known for their distinctive imagery, rich colors, and beautiful textures. Designs like the Sunflower Tile Design Letterpress Greeting Card and Peacock Feather Letterpress Greeting Card showcase the artistry and character that make Saturn Press cards special. The company sources paper from a sustainable, family-run mill and carefully selects paper with the ideal texture for its custom-blended paints. Beautiful enough to frame as artwork, Saturn Press greeting cards turn everyday correspondence into something worth keeping.
