Solstice Handmade

Solstice Handmade creates unique goods featuring hand-pulled prints inspired by the overlooked and fascinating details of the natural world. Founded in 2017 by artist Dayna Walton, the brand collaborates with local artists and small businesses, including natural dye artists, leatherworkers, quilters, and ceramicists, to create thoughtfully made products. Dayna’s illustrations often explore the creepy-crawly, slimy, and unexpected, as well as the cycles of growth, decomposition, beginnings, and endings. Whenever possible, Solstice Handmade uses local makers, organic fabrics, natural dyes, secondhand garments, and every scrap of material. Through art, workshops, and murals, Dayna hopes to make nature more approachable while encouraging curiosity, conservation, and a deeper connection to the world around us.
