Meet the Makers

Lubulona creates wooden toys that encourage kids to play creatively, build their own little worlds and tell their stories. Founders Tina & Jordi love minimalist designs, the smell and the touch of wood, coloring the world, and coming up with new ideas. All their products are designed and manufactured in Barcelona in collaboration with Europe-based suppliers. Tina and Jordi are heavily involved in all aspects of the business from painting, packing and processing orders, and playing with the toys they create. 

Lubulona believes there is definitely enough plastic in this world and there is no need to add more. All their toys are made out of natural high quality beech and maple wood and they use environmentally friendly cardboard boxes for all packaging. At Lubulona they say NO to plastic wherever possible. The fact that all their products are produced entirely in Europe also helps the environment, because transport distances are kept to a minimum.
