Meet the Makers

Mimi Williams carves each of her striking images in a linoleum block, then impresses the inked carving onto the paper using the back of a wooden spoon. Her work has a relational aesthetic and often a narrative in a single frame; full of life, nature and relationships — the title of each piece gives you just enough to set the story.

Beautiful cards; wonderful service - for a friend facing challenges

Cards with handwritten messages are gifts. So much that goes into post boxes is junk or solicitations for funds. Not in Dayton and knowing of this wonderful store, I shopped on line. The cards - all those I purchased for which the same review will appear - are beautiful. As beautiful as they, the service was so personal, as if I were in the store and enjoying their company. Bought during a busy time, even letting me know about what was out of stock* after I'd selected it, and providing options, was exemplary. A native Daytonian, this is a store that I'd have frequented when I lived there v. going to Yellow Springs for great owners, selections, and kindness.
