Monotone Flower Small Plates
These Monotone Flower Small Plates are part of a series of dishes called Kanesan 1893, a series of original modern tableware created by Kanesan Shoten. To express a warm texture, the design is created using a mixture of slip and paint. The raised slip gives it a three-dimensional feel and a soft atmosphere. Based on a monochrome concept, a bold pattern is combined and carved to create a vessel with depth. We recommend using it as a set with the rice bowl from the same series.
These plates are the perfect tableware for small portions of something, herbs or salts, or as a compliment on a charcuterie board to hold olives, pickles or mustard.
