Another finger ring on the peeler teaches kids to have a more secure grip, allowing safe peeling. A polymer finger guard protects tiny fingers from the knife, and helps teach proper positioning. The tools are all made with stainless steel blades and beech wood handles featuring green or navy polymer accents.

Against his father's wishes, he spent most of his free time refining the shape and manufacturing of a small pocket knife: the Opinel No.08 was born!
