After working as a graphic designer at a design office and production company, illustrator Iwashima Mayu is now involved in book design and web design.

Meet the Makers

Tegamisha is a creative collective based in Tokyo, Japan, dedicated to celebrating the art of paper and illustration. They operate a variety of ventures, including cafes, general stores, and bookstores, and are renowned for organising events such as the Tokyo Flea Market and Paper Expo (Kami-Haku). 

They feature the work of artists from all over Japan. Tegamisha takes what they find, edits it with their sensibilities, experiences and passion, and present it to you in an exciting package. This is what they believe to be their mission and I think we can all agree they are doing a swell job of it.
