a type of pottery crafted in the historic ceramic region of Gifu, Japan. Mino ware (美濃焼) carries over 1,300 years of artisanal heritage. Known for its earthy textures and understated beauty, each piece reflects the quiet harmony between craftsmanship and nature. As a sanchi tonya (local wholesale distributor) Kanesan Shoten takes the role of working together with local kilns to develop original products very seriously.
With subtle glazes, organic forms, and a warm, tactile finish, Mino ware fits effortlessly into modern life while preserving timeless Japanese aesthetics. Whether used daily or on special occasions, these ceramics bring a moment of calm and presence to every table. Kanesan Shoten hopes people will rediscover the beauty of Japanese ceramics that flourishes in Seto. With that belief, they continue to share these pieces with you.
