This week I am happy to report a long awaited restock: Good Juju Laundry Detergent Sheets. You may have seen something like this product before as they are becoming quite common. When I was looking for a brand of laundry detergent sheets I was slightly overwhelmed by how to make a decision. There were quite a few on the market so I really had to do some deep digging to figure out the best fit for Pink Moon Goods. Today I will share what I discovered and why I decided to go with this brand who is truly full of good juju.
Meet the Founders of Good Juju
When they decided to launch a conscious beauty and home brand, Lisa Karandat and Alexa Monahan were no strangers to the natural health space, having spent over 30 years in the industry, collectively. As busy women in business (and both boy-moms!), they longed for products that felt luxurious to use, were safe for their families, and kind to the planet they care deeply about.

Something we can all relate to is the need for self-care and seeing two women prioritize that as the guiding force for their brand is really inspiring. The belief that you should feel good about the things you bring into your home drives every decision they make. Operating with the mantra of ‘good for you, good for the planet’ means that Good Juju’s intentionally formulated products make everyday moments a little more meaningful.
As I said this week has been the first time that we have been able to restock Good Juju Laundry Detergent Sheets since over a year ago. Before the tariffs hit last year I double ordered so that I would have enough in stock to last through whatever nightmare we were going to be experiencing. But alas, the nightmare did not end before the inventory I stashed did. With the threat of tariffs there were no Good Juju Laundry Sheets to be found in the country. I even tried to protect the last little bit of my inventory for local folks as I started quickly getting more online orders.
The main reason that I chose to go with the Good Juju brand for the shop is because it is an independent woman owned business. Many of the other brands I researched were either investor owned or owned and operated by giant corporations. Some of those offer the product at a lower cost but the ethics of our shop is committed to supporting other small businesses so for me the choice is clear. When faced with a difference between investor/corporate owned brands vs small independently owned brands I will always go for the obvious Pink Moon Goods choice. I can say that my customers agree as the products do very well in the shop and that is in large part due to their efficacy. These ladies were not messing around when they set that as their goal. They really did create very effective products for home use.
The shampoo and conditioner bars are quite delightful. They are a little more expensive than another brand of shampoo bar that we carry. However, they do last quite a bit longer. For folks with short hair they can last up to 6 months and for longer hair (like mine) I have had one bar last for almost 3 months. So the cost of usage turns out to be pretty low. I really do love the shampoo and conditioner bars. They are easy to use. I always tell people that they feel like fancy spa shampoo and conditioner. The smell is pleasant and the foam on the shampoo is plentiful. They each leave your hair feeling fresh, clean and protected.
We also carry the shave bar which is a type of shave bar that is more like a conditioner feel than a foamy sudsy consistency. It leaves your skin feeling conditioned after use and my husband being the main user in our home he can get one to last almost a year with using it once every 5 days.
Lastly the laundry detergent sheets are very good. They dissolve instantly when they come in contact with water. They can be used a top loader or a high efficiency drawer. They never come out at the end undissolved. The most important thing about them is that they are made with Certified Biodegradable PVA, proven to fully break down in wastewater without turning into microplastics. This is something that really impressed me with this brand. Sometime last year they even went through a reformulation to ensure this was the case. They were certain but they feel so strongly about their commitment to be healthy for the planet and for YOU that they wanted to spend a little more time and effort making extra sure.
