The bright plum color is offset by the simple subdued background color tone. The lotus is known as the flower of Buddha. It is firmly rooted in a muddy swamp with its blooms of vivid colors making it stand out as a symbol of beauty. 

The small but solid incense stand with a silvery shine gives a sense of stability. The incense stand can be moved around the plate.
