This adorable Letter set of The Life of Gusuko Budori is part of the Star Galaxy Series based on four of Kenji Miyazawa's masterpieces. Budori Gusuko is a character in Miyazawa's famous science fiction novella orginally published in 1932. Artist Shinzi Katoh's fantastic adaptations depict "Song of the Stars," "The Biography of Gusuko Budori," "Gauche the Cellist," and "Night on the Galactic Railroad".

Letter writing sets are a Japanese stationery staple and a great alternative to boxed cards. With plenty of pages for writing a heartfelt message and envelopes printed on the back and front, receiving one of these in the mail is a true delight. Printed on Mino Washi paper, a traditional practice that dates back to the 8th century and uses the inner bark of the paper mulberry plant, these sets are pure delight.
