Yes, Chagrin Valley uses real organic tomato juice and puree, rich in vitamin C and lycopene, a powerful antioxidant that gives tomatoes (and this soap) their bright color. The acidic and astringent properties of tomatoes help balance skin oil production, refine enlarged pores, and can provide soothing relief for troubled complexions.
Grapseed oil is lightweight, non-comedogenic oil that easily absorbs into the skin without leaving a greasy feeling.
Unrefined Virgin Shea Butter, a great emollient, is perfect for challenging skin issues. It soothes and moisturizes dry patches, helps ease irritated skin conditions and has been used for over a thousand years as a treatment for parched, damaged or maturing skin. Rich in nourishing fatty acids, it is an excellent butter to help ease dry, itchy skin.
Skin-nourishing babassu, one of nature’s richest emollients, contains glycosides, vitamins, and minerals that help soften skin.
Soothing White China Kaolin, the mildest of clays, works deep into facial pores to cleanse and moisturize. It is a great choice for dry or sensitive skin, promotes circulation and provides the ideal balance for those with sensitive skin that has a bit of excess oil but still needs gentle exfoliation. In soap is adds a smooth creaminess to the lather.
A warm floral scent created with geranium, palmarosa, lavender, and ylang ylang essential oils, each of which adds its own skin conditioning properties.
For people with sensitivities to coconut, this soap is coconut oil free!
