2 Layer Sandwich Box - Stainless Steel

The 2 Layer Sandwich Box by Onyx is an amazing food storage container perfect for holding a sandwich and some other snacks. It’s a great alternative to plastic, lasts forever, and keeps food fresh and safe. Made to last a lifetime. A great container for leftovers or a meal on the go. 

Made from food grade stainless steel with an extra divider inside and clamps that close around the lid. The shelf can be easily removed making the box great for other styles of meals like a charcuterie snack spread or rice and veggies. I would not recommend using this for liquid foods like soups or saucy dishes as it is not sealed for liquid. 

You can write on the lid with a non-permanent marker to identify the contents. The bottom part is dishwasher safe but the lid must be hand washed.

Meet the Makers

Shortly after the birth of their first daughter the founders of Onyx started to confront the harsh reality of toxins in their home. Primarily, they became concerned with the health compromises we all make when we cook, store, or eat our food. They knew plastic and food was an unhealthy combination so they set out to find the best alternative. Although they found glass a great alternative the first time one crashed on the ground and created another safety hazard of broken glass they quickly settled on food grade high quality stainless steel. 

Onyx set out to create an affordable product that would last a long time, be manufactured ethically, and be of the highest quality. They sure succeeded.
