Dye Workshop #1 Ecodyeing and Indigo Resist September 15, from 11am-3pm
This workshop will cover using pressed flowers to dye an imprint on to one white linen napkin and a simple indigo resist dye onto one linen napkin. Student will leave the workshop with a basic understanding of the process of prepping fabric for plant dye, dyeing with a fresh indigo vat, and learning which plants to grow in your own garden for future projects.
No previous experience necessary. Student must be 16 years or older to participate.
****Limit one sign-up per person. Each person attending must sign up themselves. If anyone registers with a quantity over 1 the overage will be deregistered.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of the work in this class space is limited. Please please please only sign up if you are certain that you can come to the class on time and stay the entire time. It would be disappointing if someone took a spot from someone else if they are unable to take advantage of the entire workshop time. There will be more opportunities in the future so please keep that in mind when signing up.
