Meet the Makers
Smudge Ink is a small band of women illustrators, printers, and wordsmiths brought together by an inexplicable devotion to snail mail. They create lighthearted, punchy letterpress greeting cards with a knack for making one grin. Their happy place is a mailbox stuffed with real live handwritten mail with a stamp on the envelope and all. These creatives love that what they do helps others connect, celebrate, and have fun!
Based in Acton, Massachusetts (just outside of Boston), they design, print, and package products right in their own working studio.
Smudge Ink is committed to minimizing their impact on the environment and takes pride in making a conscious effort to recycle and reuse almost everything in their working studio. They source post-consumer recycled paper and envelopes for all products. They also partner with companies who actively engage in and encourage environmentally responsible practices.
