Charcoal Filter for Compost Can

Food waste stinks! Be sure to keep your kitchen free of odors coming from your compost pail. Made of activated–charcoal material, these inexpensive filters can be changed out every 4–6 months.

Simple to use. Slides easily into the top of the compost lid. 2 filters get placed into each Behrens compost pail lid – 1 round + 1 square. Made specifically and universally to fit Behrens compost galvanized pails with lids and many other compost pails. 

The lifespan of filters typically depends on how much and how long you keep food scrap bags inside the pail.
